Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry said Monday Taliban suffered heavy casualties as a result of the joint operation of the defence and security forces in central Ghazni province.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the operations were launched in some parts of Qara Bagh district.
21 insurgents were killed and 12 others wounded during the operations, the statement added.

According to the statement, 3 vehicles, 7 motorbikes, and some weapons belong to insurgents were destroyed.
The security forces and local people have not suffered casualties in the operation, the statement continued.
Taliban group has not commented yet.
