Pakistan shut down its consulate in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad in protest over meddling of Nangarhar provincial governor, the Pakistan’s Embassy in Kabul said in a statement on Friday.

The embassy also demanded the Afghan foreign ministry to stop interference of its governor in the matters of Pakistani Consulate, the statement added.
Hundreds of Afghan people daily go to the Pakistan’s consulate in Jalalabad to take visa.
