Criticizing the policies of the government, Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq, the second deputy to the Executive Directorate and a senior member of the Grand National Coalition said: “if we do not accept each other, Afghanistan will return to the seventies.”
Mr Mohaqiq said the national unity government was based on agreement and partnership, but president Ghani acted unilaterally.
Speaking to Ariana News, he said the presidential palace has wasted “our right”.

Speaking about the election in Ghazni province, Mr Mohaqiq said the government and the IEC have taken a decision, which is against the law, on how to hold the election in the province.
“every province is one election zone and Ghazni must be the same,” he emphasized.
In another part of his speech, Mohaqiq added that the election commission does not have the capacity to hold a transparent election.

Yet, Mohaqiq considers Taliban and insecurity as the major challenges for the election and underlined that over 50 percent of the country’s soil is under the control of Taliban group.
